Art

We’re showing work among selected restaurants on a three (3) and six (6) month rotation: see rental pricing. *All rented work is required to be for sale, with the artists information and price located next to the paintings/sculptures/photos: this includes an artist statement in a convenient place on any wall. A company has the option to purchase rented pieces at any time, and the price for the months that follow will be adjusted accordingly.

Getting Started:

Upon renting art, the company agrees to a payment schedule of its choice. If the company decides to buy out the artwork at the end of an agreement 50% of its accrued renting fees will go towards the final price.

  1. An art Curator will sit down with you to talk about what you need. The first months payment will be scheduled upon delivery of the artwork.
  2. The Curator will search available artwork that works for you space.
  3. The artwork is delivered.
  4. A new unique atmosphere and personality is created for your business. At the end of the renting schedule, Mad River Studios will arrive to take down the work for new and make way for new pieces.

Corporate Package:

  • $900
  • Site assessment.
  • 3 hour shoot.
  • One (1) photographer. (Each additional photographer at $100 hour rate.)
  • Includes:

    • Group photo.
    Office/Individual head photos.
    Trademark/Theme photos (outdoor or indoor).
    *Package price is limited to 3-6 people. Each additional person is $200. Large groups require meeting prior to shoot.

  • 8 hour edit of 100 to 200 hand selected images by photographer. (No exceptions; photographer’s choose the final image.)
  • High-Res CD w/ edited images optimized for print and the web, within one week.

    • Wedding Package:

  • See email above to inquire for pricing… minimal wedding shoot is $1000.

    • Personal Custom Package:

  • Not limited to any number of people.
  • Pricing varies. See email to make inquiry.
    • *Half down is invoiced before the shoot. Full payment can be made upon receiving edited disc, or by mail.

    Film/Video

    Here’s a rundown of our video package:

    Custom made 30-second promotional video.
    Short film (see video below).
    All videos by Mad River Studios are 1080p HD quality at 24fps (filmic look) and have slow motion options. This means that the video can be played on any variety of media and withhold its quality. Our video camera is capable of shooting video for major motion productions that play back on the big screen.
    Editing in Final Cut Studio & Soundtrack Pro. This software is used by all professionals.
    DSLR cinematography. This is a cutting edge market that only a handful of videographers have invested in, but it’s being recognized as the finest medium available to cinematographers.
    Tascam & Rode audio production, which provides broadcast quality recordings. Audio is 50% percent of the video quality.

    Creating the video:
    1. We’ll meet with the client to develop a script/message.
    2. Once a creative script is approved, a shoot is scheduled.
    3. A small one or two person film crew will spend no more than three hours gathering footage and audio.
    4. Afterward, the footage will be sent to the film editor and colorist to finalize the look and feel for each shot. During that time the Sound Designer works to balance all post-production audio to the footage, which can sometimes involve obtaining authorization through a Creative Commons License for the use of specific sounds.
    5. The final edits are either optimized for the web – or television – and viewed by the client. Every client has a total of two edits before the video is finished.

    Cost: (average cost is $100 to $200 an hour for editing and shooting)

    • Our cost for any artwork online and editing is $50 an hour.
    • A 30 second video will cost $350 (7 hours split between two people. This does not include any pre-production hours, or client reviewed editing; which is at no charge!)
    • Any additional time on the video will cost $50 an hour to produce. In this case, a 60 second video could be $400 or $600 dollars depending on the needs of the client.
    • If in any case a client will need more than two final edits, our rate of $50 an hour will begin on the third edit.
