Our Mission: The Erie Wire is beholden to the public interest to disseminate unfiltered information: i.e. without the influence of advertising, unofficial sources, ‘flak’ (a form of scaremongering), and/or the overwhelming onslaught of ‘doublespeak’ that too often detracts from the subject at hand. As an independent company, we believe the complexities of the private and public sectors which govern our lives must remain true to a moral character; and, therefore, be subject to a constant public review.

In addition to our own work, we follow the best investigative news agencies on the web, and syndicate their reports based on reader interest in google analytics. This ensures our readers are kept up-to-date on breakthrough investigations. Founded in 2008: Objectivity is first and foremost.
